At Nova Roots, technology is a tool for imagination and real-world creation. Students explore how modern and traditional design meet through hands-on projects that build confidence, problem-solving, and craftsmanship. Our learners practice 3D printing and digital design, screen printing , photography and videography, and vinyl cutting and production. Whether crafting a logo, building a prototype, or capturing a story through the lens, students learn to bring ideas to life from start to finish — designing, creating, and sharing their work in ways that feel purposeful and authentic
Our students don’t just learn about communication — they become communicators. Through the Nova Roots Journalism & Publishing Program, learners write, design, and produce a quarterly student-led magazine, the annual yearbook, and other creative publications that capture the life of our community.
From interviews and storytelling to layout, photography, and printing, students experience the full creative process — discovering how their voices, perspectives, and ideas can inform and inspire others. Each project helps build literacy, teamwork, confidence, and pride in meaningful work that’s shared with the world.
Nova Roots offers personalized tutoring for full-time and part-time students, as well as homeschoolers and public school students seeking extra support.
Our tutoring approach is gentle, individualized, and paced to the learner — blending academic skill-building with emotional regulation and confidence coaching. Whether it’s reading comprehension, writing, or math foundations, we meet each student where they are and help them grow in a way that feels safe, encouraging, and effective.
